Industrial & Commercial Concrete

Slabs built for the machines that run on them.

SJF places structural and site concrete for operations that don't stop — processing floors, flight-line pavement, transfer stations, truck and rail scale foundations — poured at industrial scale and finished to tolerance.

Capabilities

The full scope of a heavy pour.

From formwork to final cure, we self-perform the concrete scope on large industrial and government sites — so schedule and quality answer to one contractor, not three.

01 / SCALES

Truck & Rail Scale Foundations

Pit-style and above-ground foundations for truck and rail scales — approach slabs, rail pier and deck support, and equipment pads.

02 / FLATWORK

Slab-on-Grade & Structural Floors

Heavy-duty processing floors, warehouse slabs, and equipment pads engineered for sustained point loads.

03 / FOUNDATIONS

Foundations & Footings

Deep foundations, spread footings, and mat slabs for heavy equipment, tanks, and other foundations/footings projects.

04 / SITE & PAVING

Yards, Aprons & Paving

Truck courts, staging yards, curb and gutter, and heavy-load pavement rated for daily fleet traffic and site grading.

05 / FEDERAL

Government & Base Work

Cleared crews and QC documentation for DOD and USACE contracts, including flight-line concrete and secure site access.

06 / FOOD & AG

Food & Ag Facility Flatwork

Moisture-vapor-rated, sealed-finish slabs for processing, hulling, and cold-storage facilities with daily wash-down cycles.

Selected Work

Poured for operations that can't pause for us.

A sample of the scale we work at — a landfill's tipping floor, a runway apron, a processing plant's yard.

How a Pour Happens

Five stages,
one accountable partner.

Every large pour follows the same sequence — the difference at scale is how tightly each stage is scheduled against the next.

01

Mix Design & Batching

Mix design set to the load, finish, and exposure conditions of the slab, then batched and tracked to spec on every truck.

02

Formwork & Reinforcement

Forms, rebar, and vapor barriers set and inspected before a single yard of concrete is called for.

03

Placement

Pump or direct-chute placement sequenced to hold flatness and finish across large continuous pours.

04

Finishing

Broom, trowel, or sealed finish selected for how the slab will actually be used once it's handed over.

05

Curing & QA/QC

Cure monitored and documented, with flatness and strength testing on record before the slab goes into service.
